Seating Capacity Notes from Philip Bess

NOTE 1: The upper deck figure could go up by as much as 1,800 -- bringing the total seating to 40,000 -- by adding 2-3 more rows in back.

NOTE 2: The Total Seating could go as high as 44,000 if we wanted to add an upper deck to the bleachers, as the Red Sox proposal does. (We don't want to do that, as the seats would be very distant).

NOTE 3: Treads (the distance between rows) are 33" deep (minimum). Seat widths are 19"-21", and 22" in the suites.

NOTE 4: There are probably at least another 1,000 standing room spaces, but the design team did not do a count on this.

NOTE 5: We did not include possible permanent seating above the stadium club overlooking right field in our seating count.

NOTE 6: Our seating layout meets ADA requirements (i.e., there is adequate "handicapped seating").

NOTE 7: All our seat counts are relatively cautious estimates.
