Proposed Concourse Improvements:

Yawkey Way

"The Red Sox seek agreements that would permit the continued used of Yawkey Way as part of the concourse for home game days on a predictable basis for 2003 and beyond, in the same general manner as it was permitted to be used during September 2002. In order to bring the game to the street, and to carry out the streetscape improvements, the Red Sox would make specific repairs to Yawkey Way, including landscaping, lighting and special amenities.

Special amenities proposed by the Red Sox include a video board and a replica of the Green Monster scoreboard to be placed on the building facades above the adjacent Yawkey Way retail stores. This project will include improvements to these facades and store fronts to present an attractive visual connection to the improvements being proposed on Yawkey Way. The Demonstration Project under MGL c.121B Section 46(f) would also include a portion of Yawkey Way. "
